Weight loss time

As each day passes I'm inching closer to the day that I'll be turning 30.  It is such a strange milestone.  Looking back on my 20s, there were some good times and I'll certainly miss the youth and good health.  Not to say that being 30 is old per say, but it is seriously time to start thinking about my health.  Over the last two years I've been going to 24 hour fitness off and on, but never with the kind of consistency that can make a difference.  In addition, I just can't seem to give up on those chips and salsa!  Well, to celebrate the advent of my 30th birthday, I'm going to try and lose 15 pounds.  While not my ultimate weight loss goal, it is a good start, and one I feel I can obtain by my 30th birthday on September 10th.  So here's to trying.  No more sweets, chips, fast food or any other junk.  And heres to 4 times a week at the gym plus a daily walk with my son.  I want to post a picture on my 30th birthday that will sharply contrast the double chin/double cheeks picture that you all can see were taken for Leah's birthday.  Wish me luck!

The Memorial

We went to the Memorial where our sweet baby Madison was lay to rest. It was really sad but it was the closure that I needed to finally move on. I'm glad that I have a place to go visit my baby and leave flowers. I can't wait for the day that we will finally be together again. I know that my sweet baby angel is watching over us, and I can't wait for the day when I finally get to hold her/him in my arms.

Madison, you will always be in our hearts.
