Cooking from scratch

I am on a mission to become more domestic. I know scary, me cooking from scratch. Actually, I used to cook from scratch all the time. It wasn't until I was married that I had ever made brownies from a box or cookies from a roll. I didn't even know cookies came that way. I just assumed everyone pulled out the flour, eggs, sugar and other various ingredients. I made banana bread for the first time in years, I was worried but it turned out beautifully. There were a few stumbling blocks but I overcame them and made a yummy treat. Caleb was even excited about it and kept telling mommy how yummy it was. My next project will be home made bread, I am excited. I have never made it so this should be fun. 

Tim loves it when I cook from scratch, because I made it with my own bare hands. I also feel very accomplished because I did it and it didn't come from a box. Maybe I will make pancakes next week or muffins....... I am so excited.
