I am at the end of my pregnancy and baby could come any day now. I had an ultrasound the other day just to make sure everything was going good, and they gave me an estimation of how much he weighs. As of right now he weighs around 7 lbs. 9 oz. These can be a little off but I am pretty sure that I have one big boy in there it at least feels like it. LOL They also couldn't get a good look at his head because he is really low. Baby could come any day now. There is only three weeks left until my due date and I am really starting to feel anxious. We are all moved into our new apartment and love the extra space. We thought Caleb would have a hard time transitioning but he loves it here, and is very happy. He is quite the little helper these days and is so excited for the baby to come. He talks about all the things he's going to teach his baby brother, it is so cute. I've been busy doing baby laundry and I forgot how tiny they are. I will update with pictures when he finally decides to grace us with his presence. :) I will update soon.

The Children's Museum, adventures in potty training and pregnancy.
Tim works for the Federal Gov. so he gets days like Columbus day off. We have decided that when Tim has a day off we are going to make the best of it and go do something fun as a family. This day we decided to go to The Denver Children's Museum. It was of course more fun for Caleb then it was for us, but we enjoyed ourselves.
Caleb has been potty training for a little over a week now and thinks the potty is the coolest thing ever. He also thinks that he needs to change his underwear after every time he goes, so by the end of the day I have a pile of underwear that has been worn once. He is doing really good and is starting to tell me when he needs to go. It will be wonderful to only have one child in diapers at a time. :)
I am 18 weeks pregnant (4 1/2 months) and everything seems to be going really good. I am feeling the baby move on a daily basis, sometimes a few times a day. Tim has started feeling the baby move and is super excited about it. We find out what we are having in two weeks. I am so excited I can hardly wait.

Family Fun
Tim took some days off so we thought it would be fun to go to the zoo together, Caleb had a blast and didn't want to leave. When we got there the weather was perfect, and when we left it was raining buckets. Caleb didn't care that we were soaked or that the temp. had dropped a lot, he wanted to stay and see all the animals. We promised him that we would go again and see the animals we missed.

We're Expecting....

After having to say goodbye and many months of tears and confusion. I am happy to say I am pregnant again. The first few weeks were agonizing, just waiting for something bad to happen, which thank goodness nothing did and I am now 12 weeks pregnant with what I hope is a perfect little baby. I started feeling the first flutters of movement last week and now I notice them more and more. We went to the Dr. at 8 weeks and got to see our little peanut with a nice strong heartbeat. I just sat there and bawled, I don't think I have ever been so happy before. We went back to the Dr. this last week and it happened to be at the same point we found out we lost our angel last time. I was on pins and needles watching the Dr. look for our baby's heartbeat, and then there it was. For anyone who has never heard a baby's heartbeat it sounds like a train. That was the sweetest sound we had ever heard. At 170 BPM, the baby had a perfect little heartbeat. I decided to do the NT scan, (that is to check for abnormalities in the fetus) So I got to see my baby again and there it was only four weeks later from the first ultrasound and it had gone from a blob to an actual little person. It had hands and feet, and eyes and a nose and a little mouth and was absolutely perfect. I am going into my second trimester next week and I am so excited. I didn't ever think that I would ever get this far ever again; I was beginning to think that there must be something wrong with me. The actual thought that I am going to carry this child to full term and bring home this little one are actually a dream that is coming true. I feel so blessed that I am able to carry this little miracle and Caleb will finally no longer be an only child. I am due March 16, 2010.

Sillyness, oreos, and appliance woes.
This is what happens when you turn your back for even a second.
We bought some Oreos the other day. One of my all time favorite cookies, and I guess Caleb's too. Everyone eats them differently. I personally like to eat them in two pieces, I like to take the cookie apart eat the filling and then eat the cookie. Yummy!! Well I thought I had seen some weird ways of eating an Oreo but my son takes the cake. He likes to eat it with a spoon. Yes you heard me right a spoon. He takes it apart and scoops the filling out with a spoon and when all the filling is gone he then eats the cookie. I tried to get him to eat it the regular way and he just looked at me funny and said, "Where's my spoon." That is something I will have to laugh at him for when he is older.
When we moved into our beautiful apartment. (Yes I am being sarcastic. *Rolls Eyes*) They told us that it would be furnished with new appliances and come with a new washer and dryer and also a microwave. (They lied.) We moved in and the dishwasher was older then I am, and works great. *Rolls eyes* Basically you can't have anything that isn't a plate in the bottom or the top doesn't wash. We also had to go out and buy a microwave. When we asked where the new appliances were they acted like we didn't know what we were talking about. Anyway, I got used to the crappy dishwasher and the other brand spanking new appliances. Anyway, my very sweet husband was doing the dishes last night and turned on the dishwasher and it started to leak, and then it wouldn't drain, it also makes a horrible sound like it is trying but it just can't do it, maybe it is finally dead. (One can hope) I mean the thing was made in the 70's. It always seems like when they come fix one thing another thing breaks. I'm pretty sure maintanance just waits for our phone calls. My dryer doesn't dry, my fridge sounds like a freight train and my oven either over cooks or under cooks. It's so much fun. I am probably cursing one of my appliances at least once a day. What's the point of having an appliance if the stupid thing doesn't work?
We are moving in February!! :) 6 more moths of this. Next place we live I will make them write it in blood if they promise us anything. We pay way too much for all the crappy plumbing and crappy appliances.
Someday I will have a beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances this is my dream. For now I am stuck with a tiny kitchen that has hardly any counter space, and appliances that are as fickle as a teenage girl.
